Sally Martin (she/her) holds a BM in Violin Performance from Indiana University. She performed for four years with the Osnabrueck Symphony Orchestra in Germany, where she also performed and toured with the Nordwestdeutsches Kammerensemble. She has performed with festivals in Italy and Austria. In her home town of Buffalo, NY, she subbed regularly with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra, and also played in the Chautauqua Symphony Orchestra and Erie Symphony Orchestra.
Sally has decades of experience teaching all ages and levels of violin students. She received training in the Suzuki Method from many sources including Ronda Cole, Edmund Springer, Edward Kreitman and Mary Cay Neal.
Sally is currently on the faculty at the All Newton Music School and the New School of Music. She also freelances and performs with various area orchestras, and enjoys playing jazz in her spare time.
