Dr. Rachael Lindsey (she/her) believes that great teaching starts with kindness — she challenges her students with love, holding a deep belief that every young musician carries high potential and worth, and that a strong sense of self-belief is just as essential to musical growth as technique itself. She earned her Doctor of Musical Arts from Boston University in 2026, following a Master of Music and Bachelor of Music from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, and is also a graduate of the Walnut Hill School for the Arts. An active chamber musician, she is an alumna of the National Orchestral Institute and performed with the Cleveland Orchestra at Blossom Music Center in 2024.
Certified by the Suzuki Association of America through Unit 7, Dr. Lindsey spent five years teaching violin in San Francisco Public Schools and considers teaching her primary calling. She brings warmth, patience, and genuine belief in every student to help them build not just technical mastery, but the confidence and resilience to carry music with them for life.
