A Holiday Reading with Charles Coe

Join Cambridge resident and award-winning poet and writer Charles Coe for a cozy holiday celebration at The New School of Music.

Charles will bring to life Dylan Thomas’s beloved classic A Child’s Christmas in Wales, along with excerpts from Charles Dickens’s A Christmas Carol and Nobel Prize-winning writer Isaac Bashevis Singer’s “The Parakeet Named Dreidel,” a charming Hanukkah tale about a family who adopts a lost parakeet. The program will also feature selections of Charles’s own poetry and prose inspired by holiday themes.

This festive event is free and open to the public—our holiday gift to the Cambridge community. Come share in the warmth of story, poetry, and holiday cheer! A reception will follow the event.
