Vladyslav Dovhan (he/him) is a Ukrainian saxophonist and conductor acclaimed for his technical brilliance and profound musicianship. Holding degrees with distinction from Lviv National Academy of Music and New England Conservatory, he has won multiple international competitions and performed with leading ensembles like the Lviv National Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra and INSO-Lviv. His appearances at festivals such as Andorra Sax Fest (2021) and the Ukrainian Contemporary Music Festival in New York (2023) highlight his global artistic presence.
Awarded the Friedlander Family Presidential Scholarship (2022–2023) and the Boston Woodwind Society’s Saxophone Merit Award (2022), Vladyslav seamlessly blends performance and pedagogy. Based in the U.S., he organizes benefit concerts for Ukraine, tours nationally, and performs with the NEC Symphonic Winds, NEC Wind Ensemble, Harvard Wind Ensemble, and Weston Friendly Society, among others. His artistry transcends boundaries, uniting classical, jazz, and world music with unparalleled expressiveness.
