Joe Reid
Pianist Joe Reid maintains a busy schedule performing in jazz clubs, with chamber ensembles, with dance troupes and numerous theatre groups. (He plays 100+ gigs a year, but is glad you have come to this one.) Joe hasworked as a piano accompanist for the Boston Conservatory, the Longy School of Music, the Mark Morris Dance Company, various choral groups,and the New School of Music in Cambridge (where he also teaches jazz piano and jazz ensembles). Kevin Harris
Pianist Kevin Harris is a Boston-based pianist who has performed in a wide range of jazz venues in and around Boston (Scullers, Wang Center, Jordan Hall, Regattabar) as well as Italy, Poland, New York City and up and down the Eastern seaboard.Kevin holds a Master’s in Jazz Performance from the New England Conservatory. Kevin teaches jazz piano at the Berklee College of Music, and also teaches privately at his studio in Boston and various Boston area schools. Harvey Diamond
Pianist Harvey Diamond has been described as “one of the unsung heroes of the Boston jazz scene since the mid-1960’s.” Harvey was among Lennie Tristano’s (one of the great original improvisers who played with such luminaries as Dizzy Gillespie and Charlie Parker) last students in the 1970’s.Harvey has performed across the U.S. and Europe. In Boston, he has performed at Ryles Jazz Club, the Acton Jazz Café, the Regatta Bar and many more venues. Harvey has been a teacher and mentor to countless Boston-area jazz musicians.
Lefteris Kordis
Pianist Lefteris Korderis came to the U.S.as a Fulbright scholar. He grew up in Athens, listening to and performing traditional Eastern Mediterranean folk as well as Western classical music. Currently a doctoral candidate at New England Concservatory, Lefteris is working on a dissertation on the jazz pedagogy of the influential Boston-based teacher Charlie Banacos. Lefteris has collaborated with Steve Lacy, Sheila Jordan, Joe Lovano, Robin Eubanks, and Greek composer Mikis Theodorakis, among many others.
